Time for Change

by James M. Kushiner

I  have been involved in publishing Touchstone since 1986 and have served as Executive Editor since 1992. Thirty years is long enough. We are in the fortunate position of welcoming J. Douglas Johnson as our new Executive Director beginning in mid-January. I have been working with Doug for more than three years, and I welcome this opportunity to work with him in his new role. Don't (or maybe you should!) worry: I will be around, working for the Fellowship as Director of Publications and editor emeritus. Doug will also become the Executive Director of the Fellowship at that time. We welcome your prayers during this transition.

James M. Kushiner is the Director of Publications for The Fellowship of St. James and the former Executive Editor of Touchstone.

"There are magazines worth reading but few worth saving . . . Touchstone is just such a magazine."
—Alice von Hildebrand

"Here we do not concede one square millimeter of territory to falsehood, folly, contemporary sentimentality, or fashion. We speak the truth, and let God be our judge. . . . Touchstone is the one committedly Christian conservative journal."
—Anthony Esolen, Touchstone senior editor
