Deceptive Rejects

by S. M. Hutchens

What appears to be rejection of God may only be rejection of religion, which is another thing entirely. Rejecting the "God" of a false religion, or of a Christianity (liberal or conservative) so faulty that it habitually misrepresents him, is not disbelief in the true God.

S. M. Hutchens is a senior editor and longtime writer for Touchstone.
