Robert P. George is McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Founder and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He is also frequently a Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, where he has taught civil liberties and the philosophy of law, among other subjects. He is the author of The Clash of Orthodoxies (2002) and Conscience and Its Enemies (2013), and co-author of Embryo: A Defense of Human Life (2008) and What Is Marriage? Man and Woman: A Defense (2012). He is a senior editor of Touchstone.
