I crossed the entrance to the gym alongside a dozen other men in shorts and tee-shirts and saw the preacher standing next to the Jacuzzi-like tub near the three-point line.
I looked to each side and smiled at the fact that each of the other men, all younger than I, was taking this sacred moment so seriously. Seeing their beautiful anticipation, I held back and chose to go to the back of the line so they could precede me.
