October
21–23, 2004 at The
Conference Center at the University of Saint Mary
How can we keep our families Christian and lead our children to embrace the call to holiness through Christ? How can we teach them (and train ourselves) to live in this seductive culture without losing our salt? We invite you to join the editors and a first-class group of speakers as we tackle these important questions.
Many traditional Christians feel alone in the battles they face, both in the culture and even in their own churches. At Touchstone, we make it a priority to engage our readers directly and provide a place where they can speak with other serious Christians about issues that concern them. The conference schedule offers ample free time between talks and breakout sessions, and informal receptions after each evening talk to help our guests get to know the speakers, editors and writers, and their fellow participants. It’s encouraging and enlightening (and fun) to mingle with other orthodox Christians, ones who may not see Christianity in exactly the same way you do, but who face the same temptations, struggles, and trials in their own churches.
The Conference Center is nestled on a hillside overlooking a picturesque lake lined with trails and quiet fishing spots. The campus, lake, bridges, and wooded grounds make for pleasant walks or jogs amid the fall colors. The seminary’s racquetball and basketball courts and a fine swimming pool are open to our participants.
